In My Corner

     It makes me smile learning that there are different names for the carbonated drinks that our generation loved so much.    
        
     Back home where I grew up, we've known it as 'softdrinks'. And if you're particular with brand name, you'll be specific to say Pepsi, Coke, 7-up, Sprite, Mountain Dew, Mirinda ( have you tried to blend one with egg yolk in it?), Sarsi (again with an egg yolk in the blender you can make a 'float'). In some parts of Europe, they call it "Cola". In Canada, it's "Pop" and here in the US, we simply call it "soda".
         
So, which one do you prefer--cola, soda or pop?..I can hear the voice in me---whatever! it's just another 'thirst-quencher' !
